I don't believe this bullsh*t. Why, according to some Christians, are we saved purely by our belief in Jesus? A God who preaches that is not a loving God.

If someone does charity work, saves lives, helps people through h*ll and high water, why should they be left to burn in some devil's bubblebath? Because they do not believe in Jesus? What if they live in a tiny village in a part of the world that has never really heard of Jesus?

Just my two cents.

It is amazing to see how many say Christians are forcing their believes on others when they simply offer. Would we say someone is forcing food down a starving persons throat were they to offer them a meal?

Would we say that if someone offers a meal to a starving person is unloving?

Why is salvation by grace? When we think of it, just what do we have to offer GOD? Let me give you an example, suppose Bill Gates gave you a new million dollar house and you said oh no, i have to pay for it and you gave him a dollar? This would be an insult. For us to try to pay for our salvation with our works is an insult to GOD but we can do good works BECAUSE we are saved

God said all our works are as filthy rags. This would include our good works too. This means that Grace has to be the only way but I guess we think that is too easy that we make it hard. It was not easy for God. Check the link below to see just how we can know we have eternal life

I am just a sinner saved by grace. And you too can be saved, all you have to do is confess with your mouth that the Lord was raised from the dead. Read through from the links below...

I know you will like why you see.
May God bless you.

Someone comes around and says "Hey, there's a guy in town that is giving a wedge of one thousand pounds to whoever asks." But you don't believe it. Other people tell you "Go and ask for the thousand pounds. He has enough for everybody. He will even have a pack with your name on it." Still you do not believe it. After some days, he packs up and goes home. Everyone you speak to has a thousand pounds, except you. Whose fault?

The government put out a law that says microwaves are illegal. They say everyone can hand in their microwaves for free up to a certain date. You do not do it. the government come around and prosecute you. Whose fault is that?

Good point. The vast majority of humanity never knew anything about Jesus. If ALL those people are going to fail this little experiment...then this life wasn't too terribly successful as a way to help God's children learn, grow, and become like Him.

All people will have ample opportunity to learn the truth and accept or reject it. That is the ONLY way that God could be just and merciful. And He is.

Life is too short to read the bible.

It is full of common sense stories, but it is people who twist them to make their point, thereby rendering something useful of no use whatsoever.

And anyway, the bible isn't the word of god, but the word of god passed down orally, half-remembered, embellished and plain made up a considerable time after that Jesus character was alive.

It certainly isn't a primary source of historical fact.

I am not religious at all, however I think that everyone has a right to a faith, a religion and something or someone they mirror there values on.

However I do no agree with preachers and people who force religion upon those who chose not to follow

I can go to bed at night knowing I am a good person, however i wont what jesus would have thought of bullying... THATS EXACTLY WHAT THESE PEOPLE DO!

often its the really religious do gooders who are the most hypocritical and sinful on the inside: full of lust and hatred and pride and self righteousness and arrogance etc.

Man looks at the outward appearence but the Lord looks at the heart.

We are not perfect so how can we get to heaven ourselves. sin separates us from God so the only way to get to heaven is to believe in Jesus. works do nothing to save us from hell and its our choice to believe in God so its our choice to go to heaven or hell

These people believe that by sucking up to a mythical god, he will allow them into his exclusive club when they die. Good luck to them - they'll need it.

How does that not make him loving? Its easy, its free, it requires you do nothing more than believe, he made it as simple as he possibly could, so everyone can do it.

If theyve never heard, they will not be punished.
