When do you resort to insulting ?

When you dont have any answer to a question.
When you dont find any evidence to substantiate your answer.
When you are biased and cant understand others.
When you are brought up as a fascist.
When you are not able to respect others views.
When you are hypocrite.
When your brain just fail to give you any response.
When YOUR RELIGION DOESNT SATISFY YOUR NEEDS AND INTELLIGENCE AND YOU CANT SWITCH OVER TO OTHER ONE which is more pure and complete.

While on the other hand muslims are restricted to insult others.....

The Holy Quran lays down:
"You who believe, do not let one (set of) people make fun of another set."
"Do not defame one another."
"Do not insult by using nicknames."
"Do not backbite or speak ill of one another."
(49:11-12)

This is the difference.....

I don't think so, but when you see people insulting and killing each other, and blowing up buildings in the name of religion, it certainly seems that many think you can.

Religion is both a private thing in your head and heart, and a social thing in your place of worship. If you enjoy and get peace from your religion, you don't need validation.

As you know very well that God had reminded us in the holy Quran, They will believe what you don't, they will pray to theirs as we will pray to ours. God will never accept those who are forced to believe what they don't besides those with sincerity and willingness and whatever they do , they did it in the name of the Almighty. Even our prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) pay respect to other religion. Insulting is not necessary, we should be proud that we have chosen the right and true religion.

No, you cannot validate ANYTHING by insults---execpt the ignorance and stupidity of the person doing the insulting.

You are so right! Another quote I love was by a pastor named Rob Bell.

"The reason Christians bash everything else is because they've lost faith in their own story"

I don't really think I need to elaborate anymore on this. Start telling me why your life is better because of what happened to you when you came upon your own faith. Don't tell me why everyone else is wrong.

Replace "religion" with "belief system" and I agree with you. It applies to religious people and non-religious people alike, probably even more-so the latter here on these boards from what I've observed...

Insults are not proof of anything except one's own inner frustrations.

Christians who hurl insults at Muslims (or Muslims who hurl insults at Christians) are proving that they are not true believers in their faith..
