Cindy-
winds reached 70+ miles per hour.
It was called a "Tropical Storm".
The city was still cleaning up after this storm when the weaken parts of the U.S. Corp of Engineers' levees broke after Hurricane Katrina.
Some tropical storms feel like hurricanes, Cindy did.

there was no Hurricane .. ? maybe there was a little tropical storm ? but i dont really remember of one...

Hurrican Ivan almost hit new orleans in 2004.. put hit alabama at the last minute
