Global warming, expanding droughts, 6.5 billion mouths to feed worldwide, escalating violence, Christianity turning against Islam, so much pain... the U.S. economy is about to bust, and when it does everyone will go nuts. It'll bring down the rest of the global economies and then that's when the real troubles begin. Am I the only one who sees this coming?

Yes, I think that Jesus is coming back really soon, and that we should try really hard to get all of our friends and family in church and saved before its too late.

Do a little research into history. People have been predicting doom and gloom and the end of the earth for literally thousands of years. Early christians thought that the 2nd coming would happen by 20 AD. We're still here, though. Mankind has an amazing ability to adapt and muddle through. Occasionally countries go under, but someone else steps up and takes the lead. Unless we have an all-out nuclear exchange, I expect that the same thing will happen still.

Hang on to your hats - it'll be a bumpy ride, but my money says that it will be a long one.

Well, yeah.
I just read a sermon by a Baptist preacher who use information that was about 40 years old. He tied the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse to international terrorism by Islam. The way he explained it was scary. The prediction was 40 years old. I believe we are closer than most think.

Everybody is on alert on what is happening to the world today. Who is to be blamed, I think we should hold the Satan responsible for all these troubles. Am I not right, if people around the world are religious enough to follow the commandments of God and avoid the evil, there would only be peace and love on the earth.

There are many problems in the world. It has nothing to do with what some yokels wrote thousands of years ago.

I remain optimistic. I think that there will be many catastrophes, but we'll figure things out eventually and survive the bad times.

Believe it or not, we've seen worse. Not that long ago we had the same situation AND were on the brink of a nuclear holocaust.

I hope it isn't, but I gotta tell ya that I wouldn't be surprised if we, as a species, never get to learn what is going on on the "Lost" island.
