a dream, that even marketting on the micro level will be computerized. so far even we are lagging behind in credit cards in remote areas such as Nainital, and himachal.

Indians are working all over the world to perfect the system worldwide. I am sorry to say this - when they are done with the whole world (or towards their retirement) they will turn back to india, then they may think about changing India.
Plus still in some stores in India - both the seller & buyer avoid using Credit cards to avoid paying tax to the goverment. people's mentality gotta change my friend.

There are still some remote villages and townships where there is no electricity and tlelphone. I hope with in 10 years they will get the basic living things. after further 30 years we can think of arrival of computer there, and after further 10 year there India will be fully computerized I guess. So my probable date is 21-Nov-2056.

Wouldn't it be better to get electricity, fresh running water and sanitation to everyone first? Just a thought.
