Face it, it's time to put her down. Carts will extend her life, but there won't be any quality to it...

J&B wholesale pet supply have a great website and I saw some carts and slings in their last catalogue. Or you could ask your vet or local animal shelter if they know of someplace to get one.

There is NO reason to put her down just because she needs extra assistance with getting around now. She has given you 14 years of love and loyalty, all she needs from you right now is to return the favor for her remaining days.

Don't listen to hearless, selfish people tell you what you should do with your family member!

sorry to here this, have you looked on ebay? You can post an add called WANT IT NOW, add a decription and you may have some luck. Try placing an add with ad-mart.co.uk, local paper, lots of pet web sites where you can advertise free. Have you rang local vets or even the dog trust/blue cross/rspca those sort of place might be more helpful than your vet. Good luck.

I've known dogs in carts, they are quite happy and zoom around like nothing is wrong.

If she is otherwise healthy and happy, a cart is an excellent idea.

PS I had a 3 legged lab mix, except he lost a front leg. A cart wouldn't have helped him.

Well you might have to consider getting a "dog cart" or other known as a dog wheelchair. But before you do, take your lab to the vet before you listen to one of the answers on here because the vet is a pro, we're not.

I have a dog mobile for a large dog. It is brand new - unused. My German Shepherd had CDRM (a degenerative disease). Sadly he was too ill to use it. I paid £230 direct from the dogmobile web site. Check it out. After looking at the measurements for your dog, you could make me an offer if it is the right size.

I am sorry to hear about your dog.
You could try www.k9-carts.com they specialise in carts for animals. You can check out their website for more information. So long as she is healthy enough I don't see why you shouldn't try, although I would check with your vet.
Good luck I hope you are able to get her sorted :)

If you go thru your vet they can recomend the best suplyer for you, But just like having a suit made to fit you, this cart has to be made to fit her, I would do no other thing then get proffesional advice as it needs to make her feel as comfortable as possible, Good Luck!
