It has what seem to be swirls of little opaqu honey things. It also is harder- not solidified, just more... jellied.
Is it still okay?

It's still fine, and will probably melt with no problem if you add it to hot tea (or anything hot). It's opaque and a bit more viscious (doesn't flow as easily) because it has begun to crystalize. No matter how long you keep it on the shelf, honey will not spoil, so don't worry about eating it even if it's nearly solid!

The sugar in the honey starts crystallizing after a while. It is perfectly normal. Depending on the brand, some crystallize before others (a matter of quality). All you have to do is put the closed honey jar in warm bain-marie. That will make it clear again. If you don't mind the little crystals you can just consume it the way it is, because it hasn't lost its properties

yes it is, the sugar is solidifying(for a lack of a better term) Set your unopened jar (glass) into boiling water for a few min utes or heat it by some other method and the honey will go back to the original state.

Sound contaminated to me. Have you ever microwaved it. That was probably your undoing. Only microwave honey when your down to the dregs. It helps to get the last little bits off the bottom of the bottle.

I think so. Apparently, the only difference between runny honey and solid honey is age. If you are at all not sure about it though, I would throw it out.

Honey usually doesn't go bad. Unless it was contaminated by botulism spores. (unlikely)
It is one of the oldest foods found in ancient Egypt that still had edible qualities.

No, it is off. (unless it is in the fridge, 'cause cold would cause what you are describing)
