what do you do when you like someone but the way that person acts, and the way that person lives is bad?

If the way the person' acts and lives is "bad", what exactly do you see in this person... that you like? The attraction for the "bad boy" is common, but always seems to end the same way.... you get hurt, they move on. Look for someone who you admire and respect. When you spend a lot of time with someone-either they will start to take after you, or you start to take after them. Either way.... wouldn't you like to be with someone you respect and can trust???

Befriend that person, show them the wonderful things in life. Maybe they might want to change if they have their eyes opened to good things. If you aren't willing to do this, move on and let them live.

Move on. Because if you do end up with that person it will hurt the relationship. You have to either except it or not!
