Unfortunately, you're not going to be able to "do" anything but support her when she's trying to recover. There is more to anorexia and eating disorders than just eating. It's a control thing and she really needs to be in counseling with a professional and groups...all of those things she's getting. You can encourage her to go. Maybe getting her to volunteer with sick kids (those with cancer) might help her realize that her life is precious. In other words, get outside of "herself" and give to others is very healing. God love you for being a good friend.

you really can't do much except be there for her. She's got a tough road ahead of her, and if you can be there and give her support, it might make it just a little easier. It's good that she's getting help...but nothing's going to work until she WANTS to be helped. Sometimes, it doesn't happen. An eating disorder becomes a kind of security, and the thought of leaving it behind can be terrifying. But let her know that you care about what happens to her and you'll stick by her no matter what.

You can't do much but be there for her. She really should be put in a home for eat disorders. This is a very long process. She can't just get over it in a month or from being talked to. She needs one on one for along time. I am sure that she knows what this can lead to. Good luck and pray for her!

confront her, have an intervention. Tell her the seriousness of the situation, that she might die from this. Tell her you are worried and that you dont want to lose her.
