No, but since you brought up My favorite subject: Christmas

Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD!

As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.

Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.

Here's the Address, just don't be rude or crude.
(It's Not the Christian Way, ya know?)

ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions.. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a Holiday Tree. . . . It's a Christmas Tree!

1. Jesus was born on Christmas.
2. The holiday was founded on Christianity (i.e. not paganism).
3. Christmas is not also a secular holiday.
4. Jesus wants you to celebrate his birthday.

That's all I can think of that don't point out that the whole idea of Jesus as son of God is a fallacy.

Everything they say about Christmas!!

Christmas is a collection of ancient rites, customs and traditions that have absolutely nothing to do with Christianity at all!

The Church should be celebrating much later, some say the 6th of January, others as late as March. But definitely not in December.

The Church sacrificed worship on the correct days for their faith in order to try and hijack Christmas. How Christian is that?

1) Jesus was not born in Dec 25 - that was when festivus was celebrated and early Christians used it to bridge pagans into Christian ways

2) Holly and Christmas trees have nothing to do with Jesus and everything to do with the Winter solstice celebration

3) the Wise men did not show up in the manger the same night or even week Jesus was born - he was actually a year or 2 old by the time they completed their journey

4) Xmas takes "Christ" out of Christmas - actually "X" meant Christ in the Greek language

5) the "immaculate conception" does not actually refer to the holy spirit impregnating Mary

That's all I can think of for now, but if I come up with 2 more, I'll let you know.

Like Jesus was not born on the 25th of Dec.? Or the North star shouldn't be able to be seen this time of year in Bethlehem? or Jesus slept in a manger because the animals were brought into the homes back then because it was to cold even for them at this time of year? Is this what you are looking for? You didn't make this question very clear.

Gotta comment here....
It's only a 'Christmas' tree, as it was renamed so by 'Christians'...
(however, not everyone on this fair planet is Christian)
The 'Christmas Tree' long preceded Christianity...
(read your history books, folks)
God even condemns the use of Christmas trees - see scripture
Jeremiah 10.
The holly, the mistletoe, the Yule log - all pre Christian...(and Pagan too, I might add...)

1) Jesus was born on Christmas Day (it is just the day we celebrate it, because no one knows when He was born)

2) The wise men visited the stable (Jesus would have been about 2)

3) We have to celebrate Jesus' birth (no where does it say we do)

That's all Mav can think of off the top of her head.
