In the traditional days, it was such a big deal and almost a crime for a girl to even say love to a man even though this vary from one culture to another.
From what i know i find it perfectly okay if a girl asked me out, as a matter of fact it will be a pleasure, so babee go ahead and ask. Note that there are many ways to ask something, either directly, indirectly or through suggesting. For example, you could ask someone to the movies by saying: "I have seen a trailer of this movie and omg it's hilarious, i wish i could get someone to accompany me or i can use a company, then do observe some silence and then ask with a smile would you go with me if you are not busy by then, i would like your company, sth like that. The guy will be a fool to say No!! Remember, we are in the 21st century and we(males and females) are all one and the same!! Cheers cutie and all the best". " What men can do, women can also do likewise if not better".

oh of course its okay, it is encouraged. girls can ask a guy out in any number of ways. there is no typical way because there is no typical guy. its a lot of the same for a guy asking a girl, he'd think what would she like? what is she into? and maybe ask her to something involving these. Or just flat out tell her he thinks shes lovely and wants to be with her.
girls can do all of the same

Is is ok,but in my opinion I think that a boy should ask the girl out because it looks more ordinary.Just be original.

nothing wrong with asking a guy out. just walk up smile and say I want to buy you dinner or take you to a movie. most guys will be flattered you asked. go for it

I personally never would because i think that if a guy likes you bad enough he would ask you out himself!
