If you don't accept the facts as facts you won't find faith. In your own mind the truth will not be true since you can't verify it to your satisfaction........therefore you don't find faith butr merely a reaffirmation of what you wanted to believe in the first place.

Try a personal study of God's word. It takes considerable effort on our part to determine truth and the bible being inspired of God is the place to find it. Listening to others is just getting someones else's opinion but measuring it against the bible is where you find truth. There are ample facts to support the bibles authenticity, some prophecy were told centuries in advance and many were backed up by different bible writers in different books at different time periods. It is just like getting to know a new friend, it takes time spent with them to learn what they are like and why. You then develop a personal relationship with them which leads you to know whether you can put your trust in them or not. In truth you will be developing a personal relationship with your Father, your heavenly Father. In order to know who someone is and to have a close relationship with them you have to come to know their name, your heavenly Father's name is Jehovah. Psalm 83:18. Faith comes from the things heard so accurate knowledge is key. I have included some links you might find helpful, please check out the associated links on each site in blue to the left as well.

I'm not sure where that quote came from. There are a couple of really good discourses on faith in the scriptures. Check them out:

Hebrews 11
Alma 32

If you never find the truth, then you don't find the facts, then you never find faith.

I found when I was an Atheist, that when I looked, I looked with an agenda, and that I choose not to see....the facts are there.....I started looking at what are the hard and fast facts that supported me holding to my atheist views.....think about that also....
