Product, Price, Place, Promotion....
The 4 P's of Marketing. You can find a lot of info on the 4 P's in just about any marketing book.
Product pertainst to the product or service itself, what you are offering to a customer. It must be something of value to a potential buyer. It includes all aspects of marketing including image, packaging, aesthetics, size, weight.
Price is of course the monetary value of the product or service. It also includes the price of competitor's products or services. What it costs to make, profit margins, etc.
Place is the physical location the product or service is offered. There is a lot of depth here as well regarding the display features, layout of the store, the height on the shelf for instance. Also, shipping.... Pretty much anything pertaining to getting the product to the customer. If they don't know your product exists, they cant buy it.
Promotion includes a great deal of info as well. What discounts are offered, how long will they be offered, what discounts are the competition offering, etc.
