Her stomach is a lot bigger than a month ago. Its somewhat hard..her stomach is hard..but big. Her nipples..well..they're longer than usual. Today..she was laying on my couch the whole day n didnt get up..i had to pick her up n bring her downstairs to eat. She pretty much slept most of the day. Today she lost her appetite..but she did drink a lot of water. Could she be pregnant? if so..how do i check if she is pregnant? She's 2yrs old, and she's a Dachshund mix

Before..she used to escape our yard n she'd run around to different yards to play with other dogs. Then I had someone make sure that all gaps under the fence was blocked off.

Her bottom part..near her vagina..her hair around that area has been wet today..most of the day.

I'm taking her to the Vets tomorrow morning to be safe. I checked back in my room n she was on the couch still..n she had that sleepy face going on like when someone turns the lights on. She was probably thirsty because she spent a good...8-10hrs on my couch.

She usually doesnt eat that much. She nibbles her food here n there. she'll eat some now...the some again later.

WHY would you allow your in season dog to run around???

You would want to calculate 63 days from day 9 of her season to get an approximate due date. Of course, being you don't even know WHEN she might have been bred (it could have been day 14) this is only a vague estimate. If you cannot manage your dog, get her fixed!

Its a possiblility she is pregnant. It depends whether shes been alone or with a male dog. And if shes spayed then I think shes just over weight. But I doubt shes spayed since her nipples seem longer. That probably means shes pregnant. But a way to check is go to the vet and get an x-ray or have the vet check her. If she is pregnant put her in a quiet room so she can have them. Good Luck.

Why didn't you get her spayed? I know thousands of people probably are saying the same thing. If she's only 2 and you've had to carry her around, something is wrong. Drinking alot of water is sometimes a sign of kidney problems which can stem from poisoning. Is it possible she got into something? Pregnancy could cause this too, though. Feel her belly, can you feel puppies? You must take her to the vet ASAP. They can diagnose her. And please get her spayed. It is not only the best thing to prevent so many unwanted puppies but for her health as well.

i'm uncertain with regard to the regulations or if there are any, yet a dogs must be in warmth to be pregnant. How old exchange into the different dogs and alter into she even in warmth? i don't think of you ought to ought to pay for the dogs to get spayed. Vets do not in many circumstances elect to spay dogs in warmth besides. So it relatively is unlikely that if the dogs exchange into in warmth that it may be getting spayed day after in the present day. earlier you do pay for the spay get some greater archives.

i would say she is pregnant no question about it, and i also say the puppies are coming very soon! Prepare for them by getting a box and lining it with plenty of newspaper. also consult a vet when you think she is starting to whelp (give birth)

I would take her to the vet today!
She may be pregnant but she also could be very sick with an infection in her uterus. Dogs can die from this.
She would not be lying around if she was just pregnant. Something could be wrong, so I would get her seen to straight away!

How can someone not know if their dog is pregnant or not. Is the dog fixed? Apparently not! How would you not know if the dog has bred, unless you let it wonder around unattended? Please be more responsible with the pups than you have been with the mother.
