I am biased because I like Guinness, but it is not necessarily "good for you". You can get iron from multivitamin or iron tablets and grean leafy veggies! Good luck.

Guinness is good for you cos it has lots of qualities, but it does taste horrible in quantities. You can take Iron tablets or Broccoli and Cabbage and Fish have Iron.

Guinness is good for you and does contain iron.
The draw back is that is makes you put on wait every quickly.
Stick to veg for iron, tablets are never the answer.

For the amount of Iron in Guinness to do any good you would be legless before you could drink enough.

It is good for you.

Our local catholic convent used to keep a sideboard of the stuff for "medicinal" purposes. Apparently it was the only alcohol they were allowed to keep. ( my dad used to get a bottle while cutting their grass )

Sadly I can't drink it as i'm veggie so have to make do with my homemade stout ( actually its nicer )

A good iron source is dark leaved veggies such as broccoli, spinach, sprouts.
