Your opinions and perspective here stems from your gender.
You should know that it is more difficult for two females to establish close relationships than it is for men.
The primary reason for this is the different types of aggression utilized by the two sexes.
Male aggression is overt and usually involves yelling or threats of physical violence.
Female aggression involves talking behind peoples back, damaging social standing and other subversive activities.
When disputes between friends occur causing subsequent aggressive responses we can see major differences between males and females that will help answer your question.
Male aggression is clear and has a beginning and an end that is usually very situational. After the situation the two men either get over the argument/fight or stop being friends on the spot.
Female aggression is more subversive because it happens when the two parties are not together. This prolongs the aggressive actions and results in a steady decline of the friendship.
Often females develop the perspective that all other girls are backstabbers, b1tches, and jealous of them because they find out about all the aggressive things that happened to them behind their back. This is the reason women often have difficulty establishing close relationships with people outside of their family.
If you are interested in learning more search for the term "Relational Aggression" in females.
Good luck!

I don't think this way about friends. All friends are not this way. I can say I have crossed a couple that are this way and they are not my friends. I have a best friend that is a guy (more like the brother I never had) I can truly call him my best friend. He's there for me whenever I need him, no matter what. We have been friends since elementary school. I have had friends that were girls that for some reason claimed to be my friend but changed all of a sudden and in their eyes I was the bad person. So I had to learn to surround myself around people that wanted just as much as I did in life, because I'm not a jealous person. I believe that what is for me is for me and what is for you is for you. So why would I get jealous or angry at you for that. You have to be mature in order to be a good friend.

Ouch, that hurt my feelings. I have never back-stabbed you, I am only here to help you with any questions you may have. I know people like that but I don't call them my friends. A friend will will bail you out of jail, a real friend will be sitting next to you saying yea-haw that was fun!!!!

If you think that about your friends, they are NOT friends and neither are you if you think that way about them. Time to go out and make some new friends girl.
