Whichever one it is they want to train harder than they have ever done before, Pacquiao looks like a wrecking machine at the minute. I would say undoubtedly the best pound for pound around at the moment.
I would like to see him fight Valero he looks like he is a hard hitter but isn't he the one who can only get his fights sanctioned in certain countries because of his medical history, i suppose they might be able to get it on in the Philippines though looks like it would be a great fight, still think the Pacman would win i don't think anyone can touch him at the moment.
The other fight that i think could happen and probably will because of the money involved will be another fight with MAB, i just hope if it does happen that Marco is clever enough not to try and trade with him, it was terrible to see Morales sitting on his backside the other night shaking his head i would have to admit i was close to tears seeing the great warrior destroyed like that i just hope it don't happen to Barrera as well.

I would bet its going to be Valero. As was stated earlier they share promoters which makes it easier for all the red tape and paperwork to get expedited. Valero's record is impressive if you don't really take a close look. In reality the guy has a record full of guys who don't even rate "journeyman" status. Valero didn't step up in competition until his last fight which in itself was a "safe" fight against a guy who has no KO power.

The reason I am almost sure its going to be Valero is the schedules. Valero is fighting on 01-03 vs Michael Lozada. A fight between Valero and Pacman scheduled for April or May is feasible. The other possibility would have been Marco but he has a fight already inked for March 11 with opponent to be announced.

If Pacman looks impressive against Valero like he did against Morales Saturday night, I have a feeling Marco avoids him like a Girl Scout selling overpriced cookies. If on the other hand Pacman shows weakness I see a lightbulb shining brightly over MAB's head saying "Hey I might be able to exact some revenge and get PAID in the process. Oscar set it up."

In short, I predict Valero vs Manny in early May 2007. The one thing that could move this match to an earlier date is Valero dropping out of his fight in January. This would set up a March meeting between Valero and Pacman. Below is a statement from Fightnews.com;

"As Morales contemplates retirement, the victor Pacquiao looks forward to fighting again next year. Arum, who promotes both Pacquiao and Morales, said that the plans are for Pacquiao to fight again in March in Macau. Leading candidates to oppose Pacquiao next include the Venezuelan Edwin Valero (20-0, 20 KOs)."

I guess Marco Antonio Barrera won't accept the challenge of Pacquiao. I must rather see the champion of WBA Edwin Valero 20-0 who wants to face Manny. Maybe, this is a chance of Pacquiao to have at least one division belt at Super featherweight, before he step up.

Since WBA superfeather titlist Valero is also under Arum, I believe the next bout most fans would want to see will be PACQUIAO vs VALERO. This has the makings of a slugfest!!!

From a business standpoint though, PACQUIAO - BARRERA II will make more money for both fighters. Problem here would be the promoters.

It would be Marco Antonio Barrera.. and i have this feeling that Barrera do have some double thoughts on facing Manny Pacquiao as what has happened during the Morales-Pacquiao trilogy and the result itself..

Pacman is huge he will only fight PPV fights from here on out. JMM is a coward and will not fight Pacman. Barrera may try but it is a mismatch. He might have to go up to 135 and fight someone like Casamayor to find a real challenge.

There was a contract saying who will win the rubber match between MP and EM would fight MAB so I guess MAB would be next.

i don't be attentive to yet from a negotiating viewpoint the combat ought to certainly happen now. Mayweather has all the leverage and Pacman has none coming off of two losses and a brutal KO loss. yet i be attentive to I nevertheless choose for to be certain them combat, and that i think of it may nevertheless sell. Floyd is usual with he has each and all of the leverage now and the combat could nevertheless make countless money and he could get maximum of it. even if it extremely is an exceedingly risky combat for Floyd from a battling perspective because of the fact percenthas no longer something to lose and is going to circulate all out against Floyd. So i think of it extremely is all as much as Floyd precise now. I doubt he could take this form of risky combat while he would not ought to now that Pacquaio has lost and additionally while he could make countless money battling somebody he ought to extremely beat. My wager is it would not happen i do no longer see what Floyd could get out of it.
