What you can do is
1. Take a pin and make a little hole at the fat end of the egg. There is an air sac at that location. The hole will let the air escape while the air expands in the hot water.
2. Use room temperature eggs
3. Don't boil the eggs.
Place the eggs in a pan, bring to full boil and take the pan off the heat. Let sit about 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes transfer the eggs to an ice water bath (this helps get rid of any green ring around the yolk) 1 to 2 minutes. No need to boil the eggs 15 minutes.

Put the eggs in the water when it is cold and bring it to a boil. When the boil rolls, turn it down to about 3/4 heat. It will still boil but it won't be crazy. This should keep them from cracking. Let them cool on the stove for a few minutes when your done. Then set the pan in the sink and run cool water over them and let the pan overflow until no more hot water comes off of them, Use them then or throw them in the fridge. Good luck!

Keep them at room temperature NOT in the fridge,prick the rounded end with a pin and slowly lower them into the boiling water and boil for three to four minutes depending on how you like them.Pricking the rounded end of the egg relieves pressure as this is the end where the air sac is which expands during boiling and cracks the egg if not punctured.Assuming you want soft boiled eggs for breakfast.

Our egg cooker comes with a little tube to measure just enough water for the cooker for how done the boiled egg should be.
In the bottom surface of that tube is a little metal pin. I use that on the large curved portion of the egg to tap a small hole in the air sac that is in every egg. Then, the shell never cracks when I cook in a pan, with cold water, to boiling, turn heat down to simmer for my 14-minute really hardboiled egg.

placed the egg in water immediately from the tap, upload a touch bit salt and convey to a boil there's no favor to boil the water first and then upload the egg. They boil purely high-quality any opposite direction. even as the water includes a boil, cover and get rid of from warmth. wait 10 minutes and look at gotten a ideal problematical boiled egg, no cracks and no eco-friendly ring on the yolk both. Now, doing it that way received't gaurentee no cracks if there have been minute ones on the egg already.

Hi, just use a needle and punch the egg shell before boinling. And, btw, didn t you put an egg into boiling water? It is necessary to give egg to the pan when the water is cold yet.

The best thing to do is to put the eggs in the cold water and bring to the boil, also putting a little vinegar in the water helps as the acidity softens the shells slightly and allows the shell to expand slightly.
If you have ever seen a bone left in hydrocloric acid solution overnight, you will know what i mean.

Always start with cold water,and make sure the eggs are at room temperature. Bring them slowly to a boil, with a bit of salt added to aid in peeling later. Dunk them in cold water after boiling and enjoy.

Take them out of the fridge for about 10 minutes prior to boiling them so that the shell can warm up to room temp a bit. If you put them in boiling water straight from the fridge then they'll crack just like a glass put in boiling water.
