I cannot run msconfig in win 2000. Start - run - msconfig doesnot work - it says couldnot find the file. How do I do it in another way?

msconfig is not included in windows 2000,
but you can download it from this site:

Use Start->Run and enter cmd. Go to root directory and enter 'dir /s msconfig.*'. If you find msconfig.exe then it is the path you need to set correctly. Go to System properties to setup the path if necessary.

you could do a search for it, or click on browse and navigate to it.
Windows 2000 doesn't tecognize the "shorcut" versions so you have to type in the whole thing (i.e. c:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe)

If it can't find it, you probably don't have it.
