The color & what looks like coffee grounds are classic symptoms of bleeding ulcer.
Look up info. on ulcer symptoms, and call your Dr.s office for guidelines on the situation- whether it is likely internal bleeding (an emergency), or whether to give it a certain amount of time to wait & see, etc.
The more thorough a history you can give of any other symptoms & any changes in meds, food or drink, as far back as a few months, will be very helpful for getting good advice.

nothing like a good vomit question in the AM to get the 'ol juices flowing.
If your vomitting was just once and you are done - you should be fine. If you continue to vomit throughout the day - I would seek medical attention - doc visit for sure.
drink plenty of gatorade and water. eat only white rice for the day - if you can hold it down.

This may be a sign of internal bleeding...don't fool around see a Dr. now.
