Every time when i saw Mr. R, i get excited and my heart beats a little faster than usual. He is very cute and has the look than can capture my attention. But i am not sure whether i like him because of his look or what.

I forget the movie but a guy explained he knew he was in love because after a few days indigestion will go away. I think you have a "crush" but do you even know anything about him? Of course, it wouldn't hurt to investigate I suppose. But there is more to the world than meets the eye, learn not only what others think or have heard about him but learn what his intrests and values are, what groups he belongs to, sports, political, benevolent, religous or other such things he's involved with. I don't suggest pretending you are something you are not to stay with him, because that will make one of you unhappy and the other disappointed. Be yourself, you are worth his intrest if he is worthy of you.

That sounds like infatuation, not love. And have you talked to him before? If not than you only like him for his looks.
To love someone I think you need an actual relationship. You need to see how you'll turn out as a couple and see if you can handle being with eachother.
Love is when you know that person's every flaw and see right through them. You don't try to change them. You accept it and love them for it. Sometimes the flaws don't even seem like flaws because you love them that much.
Love does NOT happen over night so don't make the mistake of thinking you're in love when it's really just a big crush. Take time with things before using the L-word and just enjoy a person's company.

love will not validate on looks. Love will validate when you know the truth about him and still you like him. Attraction is different from love. we can be attracted but not loved. Love comes not in haste. It always comes with realization and sometimes, pain. Love is a decision no matter what the intensity of your feelings are.
