I would have to say kissing during sex. Could be kissing on the lips, back, ears, down below. Usually any form of touching can be intimate.

Kissing would be more intimate because sex doesn't have to be. kissing shows expression where sex shows reaction. But if you define sex as making love than it can be more passionate thus being more intimate then kissing.

I would say both in many ways. Sex can be just sex, just like a kiss. But when you are with that certain someone they both become intoxicating and reveal more about the persons desire. It starts with the kiss, then follows up with having sex.

Kissing. People have one night stands to satisfy their urges, but you only kiss someone deeply on the lips if you are truly in love with them.
Do you recall the movie Pretty Woman? Julia Robert's character would sleep with Richard Gere for money, but refused to kiss him as it had a deeper meaning.

Ofcause sex... but you should understand that when it comes to sex, more then often lust is in diguise of passion... Wherest kissing you feel the connect there.....with just one kiss you can dig in to the person inner desire... if its sex then make sure its not lust....
