This seems to be a pretty standard wish fulfillment dream. I would wager to say that his reaction to the end of your relationship has been on your mind in the past few weeks. So were your suspicions about his intentions towards your best friend. Coupled with your crush, this seems to round out your dream. The real important thing about this dream (as far as interpreting it) is the cinema. Cinemas in dreams can signify the feeling of your life being on display. Something that's important in de-coding dreams is paying attention to all of the things that stand out... for example, a giraffe in the cinema. That's obviously not supposed to be there, so your subconsious is putting it in for a reason. Colors and moods are also important to pay attention to.
Here is a couple of paragraphs about theaters in dreams from a dream interpretation website. I'll include it, and a few other websites, in the source.
"To dream that you are in a theater, signifies that you will derive much pleasure from new companionships. Consider also how the performance parallels to situations in your waking life. Observe how the characters relate to you and how they may represent an aspect of yourself. You may be taking on a new role.
To dream that you are laughing and/or applauding in a theater, indicates that you tend to choose pleasure and instant gratification over working on future goals.
To dream that the theater is on fire, signifies that any new projects you take on will be risky."

It is a dream of jealousy and regret.
You probably feel a little regret or guilty about dumping him. Having him projected back in your dream is to show you that you may regret on doing that even though you have current boy friend now. He likes your friend (the girl) could also mean symbol of jealousy. All that are coming out from your subconscious mind.

you are trying to come to terms with the split. You still want him, but deep down you know he cannot be trusted and his feelings for you are not as deep.
It is like you are gettting hurt all over again in your dreams, which is a good thing, because you will eventually listen to your inner voice/sub concious mind. However hard it is to accept, it was the best thing because he couldn't be trusted anyway.

It means that although you dumped him, you are still into him. If you really didn't care for him anymore you wouldn't worry about who he likes or what he does. But then again dreams are sometimes weird!
