this is a tough one, try taking it out of the burned pan, put it in another pan and add a can of tomatoes and a little pepper, see if that works, you could also try putting peeled whole potatoes into it as it is warming, i know this works for excess salt

this question comes up again and again in YA, and in people's kitchens...
Unfortunately, there is nothing that will cover the taste of burned food in a dish. If you hate that taste, throw out the food.
I'm a good cook who has been around a long time. I know there is no solution for this problem, in spite of the answers you may get here to the contrary.
Get a pot with a heavier bottom. I have a Revere Ware pot with a dense bottom that never burns on me!
