i think you 're the one who needs to decide if it stays or goes.if you're happy with it then dont worry.if you think it's a turn off then do something about it. Personally my hubby gained a little around his belly and it just gave me more to hang onto to....his personality didn't change....and hes not sloppy fat so we're good...

Being 30 pounds overweight is not bad at all! Your like a little cute cuddly teddy bear just enough cushion to make girls want to cuddle right next to you! Keep it....don't do it for anyone but yourself. If you feel content in your own skin, then others will see it as well! Just don't get carried away on the eating all the time when you are bored, get up do something. You don't want to turn into one of those guys who can't even get out of their bed. Stay active, but keep the body that you think makes you look good! Honestly if girls are gonna like you most likely it won't be for your body but for your personality!

It's not just a matter of looks, but a matter of health and fitness. I want a guy who takes care of himself, drinks in moderation, and can keep up with me physically. Thirty pounds of excess fat increases your risk for heart disease and diabetes. Lose the weight for your health and the way you look will be an added bonus. Would a girl who is that much over weight with a big belly turn you on or would you prefer someone thinner?

Lose it. Fat on your midsection is the most dangerous (compared to fat stored in arms or legs) since it is near internal organs. People with big bellies are also more prone to diabetes and heart disease. Do some cardio to burn fat, then some weight/strength training to tone up. If all else fails, consider lipo.
And also, don't use food as a comfort/support system [when bored, depressed, etc]. It will do you more harm than good.

It all depends on the self confidence level of the guy.....I've been with men that I think maybe needed to lose a few pounds but I've been with guys that even if they were a little over weight had a great personality......I guess it all depends on what your looking for.....I try to always look at the person inside & not their appearance.

It all depends on what you feel comfortable with. If you don't want to put the effort in losing it, then don't. Enjoy your beer and live your life happily.
If a girl can't like you because you have a beer gut, she shouldn't be with you at all.

I like my men big and strong. Inside and out. So...the way you're describing yourself is fine with me. I was married to a guy for 12 years who was overweight. When he lost 85 pounds, he looked so much like a sissy. What a turn off. Divorced him, too. Now people ask me if he is gay.

It's whats on the inside that counts...if it's bothering you then lose it...but women like to feel secure and the bigger you are the easier it is for women to feel that way........
