Love is based upon a mutual trust based relationship. The two people know each other and feel comfortable together.

Obsession is one sided. The obsessed person wants the other person so bad, but is not sure how that person feels. The obsessed person is never comfortable with the other person. There is always a fear that the other person will end the relationship.

Take care,
Troy

obsession would go something like this. you really like them, you think about them all the time, you start thinking to yourself...hmm...if i did that would so and so be upset. then you start calling them or driving by their house. you take any little thing that happens involving the two of you like its some sort of fate thing and its meant to be. example: ran into each other at the bank or grocery store....trivial things of that nature.

love, its usually mutual. BUT it is possible to be in love with someone and not have them return the feeling.

love and obsession have some of the same qualities which makes them hard for people caught up in the moment to tell the difference between them.

Love is uncondtional. Obsession is conditional and immature.

it's a thin line.

do you get really really really angry with them, but still have to see them and talk to them? then it might be obsession.
