not a ringing problem...but my guys phone was owned by an "adult provider" and he got messages for appointments all the time.He ended it by saying "I'm screening julies calls for her as a courtesy to let everyone know there is a chance she has been exposed to HIV,we are still taking appts if you are interested" it was great because we actually got her website from one of her callers-she was scary!

People don't realize that cell phone calls can be heard on police scanners. I work for a newspaper and one morning on the scanner heard a guy call his girlfriend to ask her what she was doing. She told him that she was on the toilet with diarreaha and went into detail about the cramps, etc. All spoken in Ebonics of course. I was so grossed out. I doubt they would have been embarrassed.

This did not happen to me directly, but I witnessed it first hand. I was eating lunch in a busy Indian restaurant near the capitol in Austin. It was packed with other government employees on their lunch break and I stepped into the rest room to wash up.
There were about three toilet stalls in this tiny room and as I was "doing my business" I could hear this guy in one of the stalls loudly barking on his phone. He was full-on in the middle of taking a crap. He was farting loudly and I could here poop flopping into the bowl all the while he was talking on his phone. I and a few other people in the room were kind of smirking and giggling.
As I was washing my hands I heard this loud "plop" come out of the stall and the guy says - "Oh! S**t!" He had dropped his phone into a toilet bowl full of poop in the middle of his call!
I couldn't help it! I and the other guys in the room started to laugh out loud! It was hysterical! How would you like to have been on the other end of that call!?!

Remember when it was so cool to have a cell phone (about ten years ago)? Some lady was walking in the street "talking" on the phone thinking she look so cool when all of a sudden her cell phone rang!!!!!

My brother told me this story about a guy that loved to brag :
I forgot whether by brother was actually there. anyway the guy went to a Japanese restaurant with another couple and they were talking about going to a better one and this guy started bragging that he knew of one and was in fact a friend of the "owner". He whipped out his cell phone and called the "owner" and started "talking" to him. Midway through the "conversation", his cell phone rang...the rest is history. he excused himself and never returned.

In church. Worst part was, I am a little hard of hearing (I know, "What?") and I didn't realize it was my phone, so I'm looking around to see "which idiot" had their cell phone on. I was the idiot! HAHAHAHA!!! Oh well.
