i need to scan 2 bar codes then i want it to automatically drop to the next line to save me arrowing down

Hide all but 2 columns. Pressing enter should bring you to the next line in the A column.

I'm not really sure you can anyway other than making those columns really wide and not using any others also there is a border function and you could make all of the other borders invisible.

Delete all others columns except 2 columns.

if column A is first, column b is midsection and column c is final, and assuming you want + in between midsection and final. In D1 style =B1&"+"&C1 fill down, reproduction the column and paste values

bar codes is a tricky thing in excel ,they are a particular font ,apologies if this doesnt help .

the colums which u see on the screen is only a guide to creating your spreadsheet. this will not appear while printing. you must create your own table while typing your document.

Just widen them until they are the desired size.
