I'm not a Christian and I prefer butter.

I think anyone claiming to be a "real Christian" would probably prefer butter. They'd then also set out to destroy all margarine factories so they could force others to accept the "purity" of their butter.

I'm a Christian. I don't need to define myself as "real," simply because by defining myself as a Christian, I follow what God says to the best of my abilities - the difference between me and "real Christians" is that I accept that sometimes the Bible is confusing and it's not my right to persecute another group because they read it differently.

For any Christian, the best they can do is make sense of what God gave them *with* what God gave them - ie., their brain. Anyone who claims to know better than I do what God wants or expects is living a lie. But that's their choice.

The best I can hope for is that when I meet the Big Guy one day, he'll accept my answer when He questions me:

God: Why did you follow me the way you did?

Me: Lord, I did the best I could with what I had. There were hundreds of religions with thousands of subsects. I found the one that allowed me to feel a personal relationship with you. I'm sure I made mistakes. But you didn't expect me not to. I believe that your grace and overwhelming love will overcome the fact that I might have misunderstood some of your desires for me.

Amusing question, but a stretch to insult.
To answer. When baking/cooking butter. Everything else, margarine. Go eat some toast.

Yes definitely! In the US we have honey/butter. I would like this kind of butter when served at the great banquet. I will see you there.
