not at all. i dont believe in killing just for the sake of having a big trophy to brag about. but for having food it is totally acceptable. and in certain parts of the country the animal population has to be thinned out. i live in the ozarks and the population of deer get so thick it is common to cause crashes in town. as long as the animal is being used to feed people it is acceptable to slaughter it. but only in a humane way.

Hunting has been a part of the human way for thousands of years. I am all for hunting but dispise those who hunt for the trophy. If I am in my stand a a massive deer with 6 points walks out followed by a smaller deer with 14 points I am taking the bigger of the 2 because you can not eat the horns. I hunt for the meat as it should be. The only exception to my rule is shooting a spike or freak.

Ethical hunting is not wrong....meaning following the laws, eating what you kill or at least giving the meat to someone who will, making a good clean kill and not just shooting at anything that moves....

I am an avid hunter, and enjoy the sport....for me its about putting meat in the freezer....

There is some hunting that I feel is wrong...those people who have no respect for the hunting laws and the animals they hunt is wrong....people who hunt just to kill and just leave the animal they kill on the ground is wrong....the people who do not make a reasonible effort to track an animal they have wounded is wrong.....there is a differance between ethical hunting and unethical hunting....

Hunting is not wrong. In the Bible, God gave man dominion over animals.

Regulated hunting is necessary to manage the populations of many wild herd animals, since many of their natural enemies have been wiped out by unregulated hunting in the 1800's and early 1900's.

Animals are a gift from God and as such the meat which gives sustinence to our bodies should be treated as a sacred gift from Him.

To quote the Great Ted Nugent:
"Venison is the ultimate sacred fuel. No food is better; not tofu, not
green salad. Venison is the ultimate gift of prime fuel for a prime life.
When you pursue a deer, realize the value of its venison, its sanctity. When
I hear or see my fellow man desecrating this sacred gift of meat by
mishandling it, or not taking the time to learn how to process it into safe,
sacred meals for their families, I feel like that Indian on horseback who¹s
looking at pollution, and I feel a tear on my cheek."

I dont think hunting is wrong. Ive gone hunting a few times. Ive always eaten the stuff my family has hunted. We dont trophy hunt. That doesnt really bother me either. I have nothing against hunting but I prefer to shoot paper targets or clay disks.

Absolutely not as long as you are hunting ethically and you eat what you kill good but to the people who go and hunt just for the sake of killing something in my opinion it is wrong but that is my opinion whenever I go hunting and I have a lot of meat I will donate it to a homeless shelter

Man has been hunting for thousands of years, mostly to survive, right or wrong it is part of human nature. Those who think hunting is wrong ,usually have no trouble consuming meat; they must rationalize somehow that chickens and cow are not killed when they are sold at the butchers store.
Killing animals for trophy's like their furs, hides or tusks, or for "sport" is not hunting. Wolves hunt deer, but I never heard of any wolves that hunt to hang antlers in their dens.
I believe that there is responsible ethical hunting that is right. Anything like hunting for the thrill of it, or to keeping in good practice, or for the rush of killing big game is wrong, specially when it contributes to the extinction of endangered species.

Asking that question is like asking if breathing is wrong. Man is an animal, and all other animals hunt, so why shouldn't we? The only difference in our hunting, and theirs, is we use more sophisticated means to do it.

not if its done humanly and the meat will be used and if its not an endangered species. Hunting helps controll population and diesesses of animals. If humans didnt help controll the popullations a lot of animals would starve due to lack of food sources.

Not if it is to hunt an animal to eat. To hunt just for the sake of killng is wrong in my opinion.
