I am Catholic too.......... and my boyfriend is Muslim.
I have been reading a lot about it. YES he can get married throught the Catholic Church, eventhough he hasn´t had the sacraments.
He is not going to be pushed to convert into Catholic.... don´t worry about it.
The priest for sure is going to talk with him about the situation but and he is going to tell your boyfriend that if you have kids, you as the mother is going to try that the babies be Catholic.... but in the future that is up to you as a couple.
Don´t worry my friend.......... you can get married through the Catholic church without problem.

The Church assumes that all previous marriages are valid unless proven otherwise. So an annulment would be in order, even if the first marriage was a civil union. In such a case, a Catholic person can get an annulment for a civil marriage based on "lack of canonical form." It's usually a slam dunk and doesn't take long or cost much money. After that, the person would be free to enter a sacramentally valid marriage. But all cases are judged individually, so these are just general answers. Only a priest can give you an accurate answer.

I know someone who is Catholic, and her fiance was agnostic, never having been baptized into any religion. They were allowed to marry in the Catholic church, however her parents had to sign some sort of document stating that they understood and allowed their daughter to marry a sinner.

Yes he can get married in the Catholic Church to you. However, he will not be allowed to receive the holy sacrament unless he becomes a Catholic.

Yes he can, I was in the same situation, all you both have to do is go to the classes that they have before you guys get married, if he is willing to get married in a Catholic Church. My aunt also married a Baptist and they got married in a Catholic Church, so there is no problem doing it. Good Luck and God Bless.

Yes, you can marry in the catholic church. I was not catholic , he was, no problem. You may be made to go through some pre-marital counselling...but that is all...and that is not always the case these days....the real problem will come when you have kids and what religion they will be...good luck.

Yes, you and your fiance may be married in the Catholic Church.
Because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge that both of you not being of the same faith will face, you may have to get permission from the bishop. Check with your local parish.
With love in Christ.

Depending on how strict the church is, usually he can get married there. But you will need to go through counselling, and he has to agree that your kids will be Catholic.

As long as one of you is Baptized and belongs to the Church, then there isn't a problem. Be prepared for 6 month of counseling as it is required by any Catholic Church...if you haven't completed it, they won't let you marry.

Of course, but he must promise to be open to children, & raise the children Catholic. You both must also attend Pre-Cana or Engaged Encounter prep classes about 6 months before the wedding.
