I do not have floor boards but concrete. The slimline radiators can be hung on the wall but near the ceiling. The radiator will be out of the way and I can use the blank wall at floor level and the pipes can go round from room to room at ceiling height.

You can do anything you want. The big question is - will it look good or not?

Sure, but you might consider a Hydronic radiator with a fan. This will circulate the warm air down to the living area. Elsewise, most of the heat will stay near the ceiling. The other option is Radiant heating panels. Uses the same heat supply(pipes), but radiates the heat much as you feel warm standing in front of a window on a sunny day. No drafts, very healthful.
