An US Army unit, 2ID deployed from Korea and then reeployed back to the states. So far only small groups of individuals have been attached to other units in the states for deployments in Iraq. If you're going to Korea, you are most likely not going to Iraq (for about a year, unless you extend your Korean visit).

Im currently stationed in Korea in the Navy. We dont have alot of Navy people here. When I asked about it, I was told we could be sent to Iraq but they chances are slim and they havent seen any Navy guys from my area get sent to Iraq. Its possible but I dont think its very likely. I think most people consider Korea being deployed so it just might depend on your branch of service and your job.
