Its sad really, im only 21, and im constantly plagued by the idea of death. Granted my life may not be the best right now, but since im in this existence, im not so ready to leave. I fear death even if god is real( a truth i have yet to discover). I enjoy existence to a degree that i dont want live for a little bit, and then fade into the universe. How can i be better adjusted to my own mortality ?

You say your not ready to leave, but the truth is, your not living to start with. If your constanstly worried about death when do u have time to truly live. As they say, Dream like your going to live forever, live like your going to die tommorrow. It will help you if everyday you do something different do something that you wouldn't usually do, eventually this will help you adjust to the fact that death may just be around the corner because you have liveed your life the way you want to. Don't try to prepare for death, it will come when it comes. The two dates on your gravestoen the beginning and the end are nothing the thing that means the most is that tiny dash in between.

First, check your blood sugar and insulin levels (the doctor can test for these or you can self test). If you are experiencing a blood sugar imbalance, your brain may be trying to signal this by making you think of death more often than a person with sugars in balance.

That is partially because when one has balanced sugars, one is too healthy, active and busy doing what pleases one to take time to think about contributing to the universe, being famous or death.

I wish I was balanced - but am working on it. There is some basic info on low blood sugar, and self testing at www.hufa.org.

Best wishes.

It seems to me that many people have tried to answer this question. There are quite a few beliefs out there that seem to be each one's way of inventing a bit of hope in the so-called shortness of our existence. But how can all of them be true when they are so different?

Try to find out what is true and not what makes you feel OK.
Is there a possibility that a creator God exists? Can we know the truth about this?
What do you think?

God is real, as he developes in your own mind and spirit. Live one day at a time, and pick out the best things about that day you can discover. Find joy in small things, and be kind to other people, you will find yourself too busy to think too much about your own mortality.

Come to words with it? not likely. I settle for that my physique will die, yet I definitely have been created (more suitable in accordance to a pair, I won't argue the element for the 2nd) with an innate tendency to warfare to stay and to not die. So i won't be in a position to declare I definitely have completely come to words with the certainty. i won't be in a position to easily lie down and "enable it ensue". on the different hand, I definitely have a destiny desire, and so dying would not carry terrors for me. yet i'll nonetheless stand up to it with all my potential. In a feeling, the guy who's me won't die. My physique would be destroyed, yet that's only my recent living place, which will at last get replaced. that would not eliminate the ugliness of exact dying. basically, with Paul, i will ask: "dying, the place is your victory?"

Accept the fact that Your Life was/is a Gift. You should take comfort in the fact you lived as long & as well you did. People are always questioning everything.
Just accept whatever you have or don't have.
You can't alter what God has in store for You.

It is a tough situation to deal with. I think we all go through those periods of life where we think about death and it makes us quite morbid. You just have to keep your mind occupied. Try to teach yourself something new. I don't really think about my own death too often, it's my family that I think about. You just have to enjoy the time we have with them and realize that it's part of life. Thinking about it too much will take away more of the time to just love them and enjoy being with them.

If you constantly worry about death, there is NO time left for living.
Death is a part of life. No one gets out of this life alive.
