flushots feel like a little prick, but just for a second. And I think you can actually feel the fluid going into your arm. They usually give them to you in the upper arm, you pick if its your left or right. Your arm will be sore the next day and possibly for 2 days. I like to have my left arm done because I'm right handed. Personally, I don't beleive in flu shots. They don't prevent all flus. And I rarely get the flu anyway.

There is an influenza vaccine which is inhaled via the nose but I would recommend the traditional injection. The modern vaccine is devoid of side effects other than the possibility of a sore arm. The needle used should be no larger than 25 gauge which is barely felt. The discomfort is when the vaccine is instilled and this is very mild and lasts but 10 or 20 seconds. Influenza is a severe and serious illness which the vaccine will prevent 70 to 90% of the time. I strongly recommend it.

Biggest part of the shoulder. It's a TINY needle. You'll barely feel it.

It takes maybe five secs and you're done.

Good luck!
