My 5 month old kitten who I've had 2 1/2 months has started doing the weirdest thing.....she's begun hiding toys in her little box... when I go to scoop for poop I find little toys like stuffed mice.... does anyone else's cat do this and does anyone know why she is doing this???

They feel that that is their space. Put a small basket on the floor to keep the cats toys in. My cat when the litter box is clean, he loves to sleep in it, how weird!!!

She's just hiding her toys, it's probably just a fun game for her...although I agree the litter box isn't the best place to hid stuffed toy mice!
I have a six year old cat that still hides her toys under anything and everything...but she's never used the litter box.

my cat has never his his toys in the litter box but i have found my kids toy cars hidden in there from the cat but that was back when he was a kitten, so maybe it is just a game to kittens, but now that my cat is older he doesn't do things like that anymore.

Cats are extraordinary. Its only one in all his quirks. i don't think of its something to difficulty approximately it. possibly get him a splash basket and start up conserving his toys in there. each and every time he places it in the littler container, take it and positioned it in the basket. at last he will study that toys belong in the basket, not the clutter container.

My cats like to hide there toys in their cat condo, also my cats attack everything because they think it is evil.....cats do weird things!

My cat does that but she trys to hide it in her water bowl! i don't know about your cat but mine's just retarted!
