Top of The Rock - Observation deck at Rockefeller Center (they also have a tour of TV studios and Radio City you might want to take at the same time)
Madison Square Garden - get a backstage tour of the world's most famous arena! You even get to go into the locker rooms!
Central Park - don't just stop at the lower east corner of the Park! Walk your way up to the Conservatory Gardens by 100th Street.
Museum Mile - Fifth Avenue - From the Met on 80th Street all the way up to the Museum of the City of New York on 110th. Pick one or two exhibits you really want to see instead of trying to see them all. It is less exhausting that way, and you can really appreciate it more.
Cathedral of St. John the Divine - still under construction after 100 years! Check out all the art and stay and listen to one of their amazing music programs if you have the time!
Chinatown - walk around all the little streets and hidden alleys - eat food from the street vendors, go for Dim Sum brunch or a late night dinner at Wo Hop. Afterwards you can head over to Little Italy for dessert.
Live Music - there are hundreds of bands playing on any given night - pick up a copy of Time Out New York and go check some out at the clubs on Bleeker Street
Broadway Shows - there is something for everyone on Broadway - whether your like musicals or plays. Check out High Fidelity, Wedding Singer, Grey Gardens, Spamalot
