I used the gloves provided but somehow the stuff still managed to stain my finger nails. I rinsed with cold water as directed on the pack, that didn't work. I have also tried nail varnish remover, that didn't work either. Anyone else ever had this problem and found something that works?

I wouldn't recommend cigarette ash but the reason that works for 'lash dye' is because it contains acetone. Acetone is the chemical used in harsh nail polish removers and can really dry out the nail. The color should fade after a day or two but if it really bothers you, soaking in warm water with Epsom salt and then rubbing your nails with baby oil or cuticle oil helps to remove the color faster. I recommend using surgical gloves from now on because the plastic ones provided with most dye kits are not sufficient.

Eye lash dye can be removed with cigarette ash - sounds horrible but it's true - just rub ash on the affected area and the dye will start coming off gradually. This might work with hair dye too. Otherwise you will need to scrub the area with a nail brush and lots of soap.

Sadly hair dye is designed to NOT be removed! A good scrub with a nail brush and some soap and warm water is a good way to start. Other than that, time is really the only way. In the mean time, paint your nails to cover the stains!

As a regular black hair dye freak, I recommend scrubbing with aftershave to remove hair dye stains from skin and countertops. Just don't use anything expensive ;)

Hey,
This is a good guide with a step-by-step method to get your hair back http://hairagain.toptips.org

Male hair loss is the most common type of hair loss. It's caused by increased sensitivity to male sex hormones (androgens) in certain parts of the scalp, and is passed on from generation to generation. There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall. You can try to regain your full head of healthy hair by following natural methods: they are cheaper, they have no side effect and very often more effective than conventional one.

As said above an interesting guide you can follow to get your hair back and prevent future hair loss without dangerous chemicals and drugs, and without expensive supplements or painful hair transplants is available on this site: http://hairagain.toptips.org
I hope it helps

I'm a hairstylist and rarely wear gloves when doing colors- I will spray them with the clorox clean-up spray or use the clorox wipes and get as much off as I can- but sometimes there is still some on my nails...and then I use one of those 3 way buffers.

It will eventually wear off if there is any left on after these steps.

good luck!

Ask your doctor about an exercise routine. Regular exercise, such as walking three times a week, may reduce neuropathy pain, improve your muscle strength and help control blood sugar levels. Gentle routines such as yoga and tai chi might also help.

Try rubbing a fresh lemon on the area that has been dyed. It will also make your nail tip look whiter, rinse well and apply lashings of hand cream.
