I'm 34.. And you're not the onlyone waiting for the WII..
I'm playing games on my XBOX, PS2, Gamecube and PC..
I've also a Commodore 64 lined up at my desk. - So if I really want to play a good game, I use this one...

Yes... erm I was going to give you a real rip snorter of an answer but I was somewhat distracted from my line of thought by someone who calls themselves militant. I notice that you spelt this correctly. Is that because there is a character in one of your games, by any chance?
Please don't be offended by my apparent sacrcasm, it lends itself, sadly, to the growing number of people suggesting that video games are ruining our childrens' education. I am not sure I agree though. Mind you I do feel that the game SCRABBLE may be very good for children these days. Particularly as the vocabulary has increased thrice over or seems to have. Just ask some of the rap artists. Maybe an on-line experience would be a revelation. I'm game (no, really!)
I suppose the above gives an insight into my age and the answer is yes. Personally I like turn based games such as the FANTASTIC, MARVELLOUS, SUPER Heroes of Might and Magic series by 3DO. All the kids that my youngest have leant it to have loved it and even my 15 y/o likes it. It is also or was available from.... SHHhhh you know Yahoo! The Heroes 2 Gold is fully downloadable and costs a piffling £7.99 or so. Which vaguely reminds me of the chap earlier for some reason. (You don't need to spell to enter paradise - nuff z?)
It is like chess brought to life.
I have been playing computer games for about 25 years (when I fell asleep - no not really!) I started on a Commodore64. You tell kids nowadays what it was like and they just wouldn't believe you.
I also like ps2, particularly BUZZ and SINGSTAR. They both ROCK!!!!!!!!
I also like a bit of karaoke but as that's nothing to do with your question I shall diminish and go into the west or something.

Oldies? Oldies!! B*gg*r that! I'm 32 years young and still play PC games and I don't consider myself an oldie! After all, I've still got all my hair and teeth (although alcohol is doing a great job at killing brain cells). So what if I'm supposed to be responsible (hah, right!) and have a job (boo hiss, but at least it pays the bills)?
And since you asked I'm totally addicted to Neverwinter Nights 2, Dawn of War - Dark Crusade (if you haven't played this, you're missing out on the finer things in life) and Medieval 2 Total War.

Whats wrong with that? I've been playing computer games since the days of the Commodore Vic20 and I will continue to play them till the end! I'm 31 now and the playing is still stronger than ever. If you enjoy it, whats the problem? It's perfectly normal

I'm also 38 and I'm currently playing Lego Starwars II on my X Box and also on my son's DS.
My wife is getting me a game for my Christmas (I hope its the new Call of Duty), and I'm still playing the games I got for last Christmas!
I've been into computers since 1982 and used to write my own games for the Sinclair ZX81.

I'm 30 and still play on occassion. I worked in a computer game shop in 1999 and our clintele was made up until about 40 odd than. I figure if you grew up with home gaming (as you would have) you keep it up as long as something is on offer for you.
Now I must admit I enjoy games but cant do the puzzles or adventure ones as they take too much time. ( I like to Play a few levels and than turn it off)

Well I'm not as old as you are, but I'm 24 and my bloke is buying me the Wii for xmas.
Until then I've got my SNES set up in the bedroom, Donkey Kong and Super Mario World (with Yoshi) are being played daily. (How very retro)

I am nearly sixty and play with my grandson all his computer games. whenever I visit him I always have a go with all his games.
Please don't ask me what they are called. But they always seem to be games that are of mythical beings, monsters and requiring energy.
I also have been playing sudoku. and other card games on my computer.
If you consider yourself an oldie, what on earth am I. Old lady time?
Have fun. you are never too old for any kind of game. Know what I mean.

I'm almost 31 and I have one of those little joysticks where the games are programmed into it and you just link it to the TV. They are all the old games like pacman, space invaders etc. I love it but the youth of today look at me strange when I say this was the best in my day.
