There are many reasons why people like it, but it is absolutely necessary. I live in Michigan and there used to be a time when hunting was limited each year to a greater degree than today. During those years thousands of deer died from starvation. Hundreds of car accidents happened due to deer in the roads. Now the DNR monitors the population very closely and if they determine the population is getting out of hand again, they issue a special hunting period beyond the regular hunting season to assure the population is in check.
For all the people who are against hunting, don't hunt. Just remember, it is a fact that starvation and human deaths occur when animal populations are not controlled.

We sure do like the meat that comes out of a good hunt, why else go hunting??
Deer is good eating....
Do not go hunting and deer either starve to death, get hit by cars. Or like what happened in our state they got a deceased and had to be killed, burried.....
BTW I love the people who have no problem going to the store or going to McDonald's for that hamburger but put down people who hunt lol! Classic ignorance lol!

Watch those kind of people. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals. I say all creatures have as much right to be on this earth as us!!

a few just like it for the meat.. I do have to admit that Venison, when prepared right, tastes great.
Some do it for "sport" which means they just like to do it to brag to their buddies about how big it was and how many "points" it had.
And then there is the group that just take the opertunity to kill something.

I don't hunt but I don't have anything against it. I have been told that people like hunting because of the ''thrill'' of the hunt.

I think it's disgusting. Why would anyone get off on killing such a beautiful, gentle animal.
