This is my first pregnancy and I have felt things going on in my belly from the time of conception, however after doing lots of reading and research on the topic, I realized it is not the baby moving at that point of the pregnancy. There are lots of things going on inside of you and you will experience all kinds of things and as a maternal instinct you will be very aware of all of those changes. at 9 weeks your baby is still pretty much still a cell developing. I didn't feel the actual baby mave until I was 14-16 weeks pregnant, I would feel something different about once a day, then it got stronger and at week 20 when baby was starting to develop strong arms and legs is when I started to feel the movement pretty good. Now at week 29 Oh God! I sure can feel him. The same with twins. Be patient, you will get there.

I think it probably is a bit too early as your baby is still very small (only about an inch long) the earliest I felt my baby move was 15 weeks (I've had 4). Congrtulations anyway, I hope you have a happy healthy 9 months :0)

I don't really think it it too early to feel anything. I thought I felt something early on in my pregnancy, but I knew for sure at 13 weeks that it was my little guy moving. But I could have swore it felt like little butterflies in my stomach a little before that. I think it may be different for all women, maybe of how their uterus is sitting, possibly their size, and how your feeling overall. But if you think it feels the same as your other pregnancies then it might be possible!

congrats on your new baby :-). it is way too early to feel movement yet. on your first child the baby can be felt moving around the 18 week mark and on your second and more you can feel the baby a bit earlier say 15 weeks. i hope your dates are right as you shouldnt be feeling anything yet the baby is still an embryo. congrats again x

I would say if you are feeling movement now that perhaps you are farther along than you thought. But at 9 1/2 weeks thats a bit early.

At 9 weeks your baby is probly only the size of a baked bean, it would be impossible to feel it moving at this stage.
Congratulations tho and good luck.

9 and a half weeks is too small to feel it move....around 14 weeks if its not your first pregnancy. Maybe because you know its in there you think you can feel it move...all very exciting - isn't it? congratulations!
