The moment I start to think that "my" values are worth emulating by the others ... that moment.... I lose my value.. Further I would be commiting a grave sin if I want to lead the others with my value systems. The world has , already, a lot of such people in the guise of religion, spirituality, business...... And you and I know the condition of the world.
I feel convinced that values are subjective, intensely personal and have been groomed like a pet. It is for you and you only. If you come across another with similar value system you are happy. That is it.

IF WE DO NOT THINK THAT ANY VALUE IS NOT GOOD AND WORTHY FOR ALL, THEN IT IS NO VALUE AT ALL.
Value by definition ought to be beyond the individual differences and must have universal or near universal application.
Wanting to lead is a subtle expression of ego. Our self pride makes us feel superior and we want to help others by leading them to follow our example. It is nothing but superiority complex that makes us even feel to help others, leave alone the desire to lead others.

Of course I am happy with my values, otherwise why would I claim them?
Are they worthy for others? I don't think anyone's value system should be based on another's. It's an internal thing, germinated by education, grown through wisdom, achieved through experience and strengthened by faith.
Therefore my happiness and values, cannot be squished into this question so categorically.
My answer simply put:
Yes I am.
And no they are not.

Jonas_Tri,
My values are strictly from the bible. I am a devote Catholic and I try to follow my Religion as close as I can. So religious value's are really important to me. They seem to me they would be good values for eveyone, but I know that isn't going to happen. A lot of people are just to sour towards religion. If you are honest with yourself and look at it with a open mind, you have to admit all things that are good comes from God.
