It all depends what part of the country you are going to...
Sierra Nevada or the Pyrenees, mean snow and ski resorts...
Galicia and the cantabrian coast definitely mean cold and rain.
Madrid and the center of the country means very chilly and sometimes drizzly weather... The mediterranean climate on the eastern coast is warmer the further south you go...If you are in Barcelona you are more likely to have chilly and rainy weather than in Valencia, Alicante, Almería or Málaga. The best climate in Europe is the area of the Costa del Sol, where I live, and we often have midday meals on the terrace, in short sleeves on Christmas and New Years day.
Christmas is evidently full winter season, so it will also depend on your luck! Bring a raincoat and some warm clothes, but also throw in a pair of shorts, a t-shirt or two and a bathing suit if you are heading toward the mediterranean...
Wherever you are going, you should have a wonderful time, rain or shine!!! Enjoy your holiday... and Merry Christmas!

It will be very cold with snow and really low temperature in the north part of Spain and even in the central part too, Madrid included. In the south of Spain, where I live, it can be very cold but it doesn´t rain or snow so much, but it´s very cold. Anyway, it will be very cold with temperatures below 0º Celsius, that´s for sure. In the east, like Valencia, Alicante it won´t be that cold. Anyway, brig warm clothes, and gloves. Depending on the part of Spain you are coming it might rain .

Depends which part of Spain? The south would be warmer and with less rain than the north. You can always look up this site

Which part of Spain are you going to? Down around Marbella it will be warmer.

That depends on where you're going. Your question is too general.
