I remember only a little the plot.
A girl runs away from home and from her father and goes to live with a juvenile delinquent.
An Italian emigrant in Australia ( or an Australian man of Italian origin) lends a hand the father to find the girl across the Australia (it's a road movie).
I seem to remember the father of the girl is a filling station owner and the Italian is a commercial traveller a little rogue but with a generous nature and a gripping liking. I remember too a song the Italian often sing during the travel, the refrain was something like "vafancula" or similar.
I remember too the Italian sells sexy articles like porno magazines and inflatables dolls.
This comedy has came from 1970 to 1990, more or less.
