I am sure what you are referring to is the catalytic converter which is located on your exauhst. It should be located somewhere behind your exauhst manifold and before your muffler. The purpose of these are to burn any excessive gas/fumes and lower the emissions that come out of your engine so they won't pollute the air. Usually you can tell if they are bad or clogged because they will get really hot and sometimes actually glow red. They can also make your car run pretty rough if they are clogged. If it needs replaced take it to your local muffler shop/exauhst shop and have it fixed.

its a repair of the catalic converter.. that is the thing on your exhaust pipe that filters out all of the bad fumes that makes ur car legal to drive in regards to emission levels in your country
