What other president has had to deal with the issues President Bush has had since taking office? The economy was in a slump, 9-11 in his first year, Katrina, the list goes on. Certainly he has made mistakes, but I don't think his mistakes are enough to warrant "worst president ever." What about democratic presidents that got the US involved in Vietnam with over 50,000 DRAFTED US servicemen dead? I am not a Bush fan by any means and I do wish we had elected a different President, but worse ever isn't fair either.

well ive only been alive for reagan (which i dont remember since i was young), bush, clinton, and bush...so to say worst ever would be invalid, since there were many more presidents beforehand...but, on the other hand, bush has NOT broken any laws like presidents in the past...he has done things he believes are right and does not back down from his stance...so is this wrong? having a leader that fights for what he believes in and wont back down, unlike clinton, who would rather back down on bringing bin laden to justice and just let him run free in the world...and lot of people who think bush is horrible are the same people who claim they hate people who are close minded, but in turn, these are the most close minded people in the world today!

Actually when Clinton was in, the economy was at a all time high, Bush inherited a windfall, unlike what the GOP will say, ANYONE who lived thru it knows, Also, did you know that Bush actually took federal money away from the New Orleans levee project and also took money away from the flood control. a quote from Factcheck.com:....Our fact-checking confirms that Bush indeed cut funding for projects specifically designed to strengthen levees. Indeed, local officials had been complaining about that for years..........including a major cut just 4 months before Katrina, before 911, and starting just after Bush took office the economy was going to the crap yard. The GOP will tell you how the economy was falling before Clinton left, the actual truth and this is a fact, that record growth slightly slowed, but we still had record growth, just a couple percentage points less then the previous months......................Another quote from Fact Check...............By 2003 the federal funding for the flood control project essentially dried up as it was drained into the Iraq war. In 2004, the Bush administration cut funding requested by the New Orleans district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for holding back the waters of Lake Pontchartrain by more than 80 percent. Additional cuts at the beginning of this year…forced the New Orleans district of the Corps to impose a hiring freeze.

I disagree he is handling several conflicts the pervious President ignored. If you listen to old Clinton speaches he said many of the same things about Iraq that Bush did. The main difference is that Bush actually did something about it besides hand wringing. Jimmy Carter resided over double digit inflation and the Iran hostage mess. Johnson had the war on poverty and Vietnam both were failures how can this president be worse than that even ignoring Nixon and Watergate?

worst since I've been around... but I think there may have been a few that were worse than he is... ever...
it's like he's trying hard... he just doesn't really understand the situations he's put us into... there was a reason no one invaded Iraq before now... it was pretty clear it would be nearly impossible to put it back together...

No, he is just dangerous to the world in general. But he is past his worst danger potential now that he is straightjacketed by the Democratic Congress.
