Sorry folks, but you are all generalising and talking about star signs and not horoscopes. If you have a proper birthchart carried out, you'll find your'e actually influenced much more by other signs, aspects and planets than by your sun sign.
One of the most obvious signs is the rising or Ascendant sign, it affects the appearance of a person and it's easy to work out if you make a list of the people you get on best with and their signs.
I'm Cancer, but most of my friends are air and fire signs.
Just for the record, a study has just revealed that CANCERIANS are the funniest in the zodiac, just check out the birthdays of most well known comedians! *blows a huge raspberry, with crossed eyes as she does a silly walk out of the room!*

Aquarians like me are caring and idealistic, Virgo tends to be emotional and unstable, Scorpio a little aggressive - but good on your side in a fight! Capricorn - obsessive and compulsive and often have addictions - although some keep them under control. Gemini is a good sign - but can be cold and calculating - but women are dead sexy. Libra is a bit boring. Aries, chavs - all bling and show offs. Cancer - can be depressing - but tend to work well. Pisces- communicators and artists - very talented. Taurus - Stubborn - but sort of lovable - a caring side to their nature that isn't obvious. Leo - very helpful, but unemotional or at least they appear to be - deep down they are more curious. Sagittarius - tend to be very good at what they do and single minded - but often too single minded. They will be obsessive about work and perfectionists and then forget their family. Not the most understanding sign. But they make excellent doctors and nurses - they are so dedicated.

I should have done those in order - not sure if I missed one now! I don't care - for a personal reading put a £20 note in an envelope and send it to....

Each sign has another with which it will be less compatible, so it depends on what your own sign is. That said, my own experience, and perhaps a little bias also, since bias is always part of any subjective calculation, leads me to the following conclusions. (And believe it or not, this is all coming from personal experience, and not some website)

-Aquarians are very hard working but they tend to be cold and distant. They make reliable partners if you are looking at a relationship built around trust and hard work. But the downside is that Aquarians tend to be aloof and they are not easily swayed by emotional arguments. They tend to look down upon those who whine (so Cancers should probably not pick Aquarians; emotional Scorpios may also have some problems, but there is mutual respect there that can overcome this).

-Pisces are happy-go-lucky fishes of the sea, but don't let that fool you into thinking they don't know what's going on. Pisces have an emotional side that may be obscured by their generally positive attitude. If you rub a Pisces wrong, they will remember. Pisces make great friends and are very good for partying, only being matched in that regard with Sagittarians.

-Aries signs are hard working and reliable, but they are also very self-involved and tend to be arrogant. They love to display their "bling bling" and their motto should go "it's either my way or the highway". Aries can be very vindictive, but they eventually come around and realize their follies. Aries are strong signs that can match fists with other equally strong signs, especially Leos. Those who are submissive by nature will do better with them because they will not confront them. NEVER confront an Aries.

-Taureans are classically stubborn, but on the upside they are hard working and reliable (note that the "hoofed" animals of the zodiac tend to share this tendency). A Taurean will never deviate too much from the middle. That is good because they won't get involved in drugs or alcohol as much as other signs. Taureans are the polar opposite of sexual freaks (like Scorpios). So don't expect a highly passionate and kinky romp with them.

-Geminis are intelligent, but their fickle nature might lead you to believe they are airheads. Geminis can get bored very easily, but they can be hard workers, especially in the home. Don't expect too much emotion from a gemini. A gemini partner is, much as the Aquarian partner, someone to regard more like a business partner. But unlike Aquarians, Geminis like their home very tidy.

-Cancers, next to Scorpios, are the most emotional of the signs. A Cancer loves friends and family, and you must never attack those closest to a Cancer because they will attack you back. Cancer GW Bush, unsurprisingly, had no patience for Saddam, who had attempted to assasinate his beloved dad. Cancers can also become very deppressed and moody, and it takes a lot of patience to deal with that. Scorpios, who are themselves very moody and emotional, have a greater capacity for empathy for a moody Cancer than a cold Aquarian, Aries, and Capricorn.

-Leos are very emotional, but those emotions are usually confined to pride of self. That is, Leos don't lack in warmth, but you better show that you know who is the "lion king" when you deal with Leo. A Leo will always be keeping up appearances, especially their hair, and they will have no patience for someone who is not tidy.

(My experience with Virgos and Libras is not uniform, and so I cannot make a good assessment. I do know that both signs tend to be more "artsy", and so creativity and good artistic sense are useful to have when dating both.)

-Scorpios are the kinkiest of the signs, they are very emotional and empathetic. They can read people about as well as a private investigator- but in much less time. Scorpios are very reliable, but they are also prone to moodiness and bouts of depression (they can withdraw for prolonged periods, but they almost always come charging back like a Phoenix). While Scorpios can have great taste in wine, music, art, etc they understand that people come before inanimate objects. This is why many Scorpios end up as doctors.

-Sagittarians are very fey and feisty, but also hard working. They love to party but they also know when the party is over and work must begin. Sagittarians are very independent-minded, and don't like to be held down or suffocated with over-emotion.

-Capricorns are moody and unemotive. They are reliable like Taureans but they can also be deceptive if they feel there is a greater self interest involved. Treachery is not beneath them, and like an elephant a Capricorn will remember anything you say or do against them.
