There are an estimated 6.55 billion people in this world. Whether you are happy or successful or feel good about yourself or not is important to you, and perhaps your mother. That's 2 (if you're lucky) out of 6.55 billion.. so the odds are that you are pretty inconsequential. Everyone else is busy worrying about their own lives. Sometimes out of the kindness of their hearts people are nice to you, and helpful, and go out of their way to assist you in your responsibility to yourself. These people are generous and should be appreciated but never taken for granted because they might have just helped themselves.

Ultimately, you are responsible for yourself. You might be influenced by things but the decisions, no matter how unappealing, are your own. You can choose to abdicate your responsbility, but then, too, you are making your own decision to lie in sloth or misery. You may not act responsibile, but you still own it.

I personally think people ARE responsible for themselves,no one can make a person do something against their will. each person has a mind of their own whether they make the right decisons in life is another matter.

I think people are responsible for themselves as well as all of their actions. Passing the buck on this is what leads to overcrowding in the legal system as well as justification for aberrant behavior.

Everyone is responsible for themselves. You can't blame anyone else for your lot in life...you chose it. You can choose to be a victim or not. You can choose to improve yourself or not. You can choose to be a negative person or not. You create for yourself what you think about. So take the credit for your life or take the blame!

People are responsible for both their own actions and their own omissions.

People have to accept responsiblity for what they do and the decisions they make as to have a society that believes you are blameless would be simple chaos.

No I don't think people are responsiable for themselves. Most people blame others for their actions and refuse to admit when they did wrong.

Liberals don't think so. It's their philosophy of life that people shouldn't be.
