I'm new to embroidery, and need help figuring out which stitch style is best for making letters. Please help. ~Thank you.

For large letters, try satin stitch. The outline stitch or backstitch works well for for medium size letters.

As for small letters, you can use one long stitch for each stroke of a block letter.

I would say the satin stitch because you want it to stand out so people can see ( a conversational starter).
