Can anyone help? I like to get them something a bit different every year. Last year I got them a trip out for the day but this year I'm really stuck, they already have everything practical and stuff related to hobbies! Help!

Maybe you can 'give' them something more practical. Do they need a hand at home with the garden or other 'odd jobs' - maybe you could make them a voucher giving them x number of hours of your time.

Perhaps they would like just to be taken somewhere and have company/transport to get there.

What did they like doing when they were younger - could you re-kindle a special memory?

Good Luck!

We always make them a hamper of tasty stuff. Good cheese biscuits bacon etc and of course wine and beer although dont really know what they are like this is always a nice present and my gradnparents always enjoy it. Good but easy family board games are fun to play on christmas day. My uncle buys them a board game nd we play it on christmas or on any family ocassion it is nice to bring the family together. or create a photobook or calander with personal pictures .... you can get these on snapfish.co.uk

You could always get them an oxfam unwrapped gift if you think they would appreciate that gesture.

Look this is easy. Everyone has bills. so a great Christmas present would be an envelope with say $100 to pay the monthly power bill, or say gas bill, or give them a gift certificate from their favorite grocery store to buy groceries for a month. This idea is a very good one and I know they would appreciate your thought of doing one of these.

My son is low imaginative and prescient by Stargardts Macular Degeneration. He enjoys books on tape, song CDs.. something he will pay attention to. yet another sturdy concept may be magnifiers for pc video demonstrate contraptions and the television if she has some sight left. i be attentive to in situations of the substantial nerve being severed, there is not any imaginative and prescient in any respect and of course, those issues won't help. Get her some tapes on the thank you to speak a 2nd language. Tickets to the symphony for 2 (so she'll have somebody sighted to navagate the auditorium). getting to understand braille is unfastened and there are a number of amenities obtainable to the blind. If she's no longer already contacted them, according to hazard you may do it for her.

Make them a memory book of their life together! Start with their wedding pictures and great moments in their lives, then you could have other family members write special things about them! What and great tribute to them and a very thoughtful gift from you!

I did a hamper for my gran last year and personalised some of the things and then gave it a theme, ie. gardening.

Got her some 'Extra Special' bits from Asda, cos I know she wouldn't spend £5 on biscuits and a few bits like that.

She loved it.

You could do his and hers ones.

If they aren't short of money you could adopt an animal or make a charitable subscription on their behalf. Or you could buy a magazine subscription (very cheap if you use Tesco deals vouchers)

Tickets to a movie. You can get gift vouchers, so they can choose the movie. Include popcorn and a packet of sweeties!
